  • Why a Walk Might Be the Workout You Need Today

Why a Walk Might Be the Workout You Need Today

☀️ Why Slow Mornings Might Be the Healthiest Thing You Do Today

Some mornings are just slower—and honestly, that’s not a bad thing.

You don’t have to jump into a packed schedule or squeeze in a full workout to have a good day. Sometimes, the best way to start is with a cozy cup of coffee, a scoop of collagen for a little protein boost, a swirl of whipped cream, and a few deep breaths before the chaos begins.

Especially as a mom, mornings aren’t always predictable. There are backpacks to pack, kids who need one more thing, and a schedule that somehow got full before 9 AM. But even on those days, taking five minutes to slow down can change everything.

When your body’s asking for rest or a slower pace, an outdoor walk can be exactly what you need. There’s something about fresh air and gentle movement that resets everything—from your mood to your mindset. Or take your kids with you! It’s a simple way to model self-care, teach them to love moving their bodies, and help them tune in to how they feel too.

This isn’t about skipping workouts. It’s about listening. A 20-minute walk or a quick strength session is still powerful. What matters most is honoring your body and moving in a way that supports how you feel—not just how you think you “should” be showing up.

Movement doesn’t always have to be intense. Some days, slowing down is the strongest choice.

So if today feels quiet, let it. Trust your rhythm. You’re doing more than enough.

  • 🌿 The Dinner Plan That Made Our Summer Nights Easier

🌿 The Dinner Plan That Made Our Summer Nights Easier

I love summer with my kids. The slower mornings, later dinners, and long days outside together are everything I want this season to be.

But I also know how fast things can go from relaxing to chaotic when everyone’s hungry, we’ve been out late at sports, and I haven’t figured out what to cook.

    That’s why I made this.

The Macro Friendly Summer Dinner Plan is something I put together for my own family—something that could keep us eating well, save time, and still feel like real food.

It’s built around protein, vegetables, and smart leftovers—but also around what’s realistic when you’re trying to raise kids, stick to a budget, and not burn out.

    Why I Created This Plan

I don’t need perfect dinners. I need realistic ones.
Meals that fuel my family without draining me.
Recipes that don’t waste ingredients or require me to reinvent the wheel every night.

So I sat down and planned 7 dinners I know we actually enjoy—things like:

    • Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs with Rice and Grilled Veggies
    • Cabbage & Chicken Salad with Sesame Vinaigrette
    • Slow Cooker Chile Verde Chicken Tacos
    • Smash Burgers with Zucchini and Carrot Fries

They’re balanced, easy to prep, and designed to serve five with enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

    What You’ll Get Inside

This is a printable PDF that gives you:

    ✔️ 7 simple, family-style dinner recipes
✔️ A categorized grocery list that makes shopping faster
✔️ Easy instructions that don’t assume you have time to spare
✔️ Smart leftover planning (cook once, use twice)
✔️ A calm, uncluttered layout so you can focus on what matters

You can print it out or save it to your phone. Either way, it’s designed to help you take one big decision off your plate every day.

For Families Who Want Nourishment Without the Overwhelm

I made this because I believe nourishment doesn’t have to be complicated.

This plan is for the moms who want to:

    • Feed their families well
    • Spend less time worrying about dinner
    • And still have energy left at the end of the day

It’s not about perfection—it’s about support.

  • My Summer Mom Survival Kit: 7 Things I Actually Use

My Summer Mom Survival Kit: 7 Things I Actually Use

Summer with kids is wild in the best way—sticky popsicles, late bedtimes, sandy floors, and all the memories that make it worth it. But real talk? It takes some strategy (and snacks).

After years of hauling way too much or forgetting the one thing we needed, I’ve finally narrowed it down. These are the 7 things I actually use every single week to make summer smoother, happier, and a whole lot more manageable.

👉 CleverMade SnapBasket – folds flat, fits everything

    🎒 5. A Backpack That Actually Works

Light, comfortable, and not embarrassing to carry. Perfect for sunscreen, snacks, and spare undies.

👉 Light Flight Backpack – cute and functional

🎧 6. Sanity Saver: Bluetooth Earbuds

My go-to for solo errands, early walks, or escaping into a podcast while cleaning.

👉 AirPods Pro 2 – worth every penny

📖 7. One Great Summer Read

Because moms deserve a break, too. We Were Liars was a fast, emotional page-turner.

  • My Real-Life Workout Routine as a Working Mom

My Real-Life Workout Routine as a Working Mom

Let’s be real—fitting in a workout as a mom of three, working full-time, and going back to school isn’t easy. But for me, staying strong isn’t just about fitness. It’s about showing up for myself, protecting my long-term health, and setting the tone for my family.

Some mornings I can squeeze in a workout after school drop-off. Other days, I know I won’t get the chance unless I wake up at 5:30 AM. So I do. Not because I love waking up that early (I really don’t), but because I know how defeated I’ll feel later if I skip it.

I work out in my bedroom in a small space, but I make it work. I do 20 to 25 minutes of strength training—alternating full-body, arm, and leg days—and then follow it up with a 15-minute incline walk on my treadmill (12% incline at 3 mph) three days a week. On the other two weekdays, I focus on active recovery, like walking or yoga for at least 30 minutes.

Weekend workouts? Total bonus. Sometimes that looks like a hike with the kids, a bike ride, or just being out in nature together. We’re an active family, and that matters to me.

For me, it’s never been about changing my appearance—it’s about feeling energized, capable, and strong in the life I’m living now. I want to protect my bones, build muscle, and be healthy for my kids—not just today, but for years to come.

Some weeks aren’t perfect. I miss a workout or things get chaotic—but I always come back to it. Not because I have extra time, but because I’ve learned how much better I feel when I make it a priority. It’s not all-or-nothing—it’s about showing up consistently, even when life is full.

8 Family Camping Extras That Made Our Trip Way Easier

Camping with kids is always an adventure—and let’s face it, it’s easy to forget the little things that make a big difference. After a few trips, I started building a list of smart extras that helped everything run more smoothly!

Once we had the basics in the fifth wheel—bedding, food, and the usual supplies—I realized there were still a handful of little things that made a huge difference in how smooth (and fun) our trip felt. These aren’t survival must-haves, but they made campfire nights easier, clean-up quicker, and the whole weekend feel a lot more comfortable. If you’re camping with kids or just want things to go a little more smoothly, these are the extras I’d pack every time.

    2. Pink Cordless Fan with Lantern Buy Here

These added just the right amount of magic to our campsite. Easy to hang, totally waterproof, and they charge themselves. We kept them around the table so the kids could still play cards after sunset.
